By the end of the series it all had changed so much, that most of the characters weren’t even human anymore. I love this book.
It feels like a waste and the HEA never came. I almost didn’t read it after finding out what happened in the book, and had I not changed my mind, I would have missed out on a really great read. Ren can live happily in heaven without this chick tormenting him. Not a weenie with a shiny title. I threaded my fingers through his, finally understanding what shay was trying to to.
Well, I certainly do. I felt like I was cheated with the answer to this question. I was ready for it!

Them getting turned back to wolfs was pretty good, shay getting turned was pretty nonsense though imo, having him stay human so calla could swim in self loathing would have made me give this book 1 more star. I set out to write cremed long review view spoiler [on how absolutely gutless it is to kill off a character just because your heroine can’t choose her man hide spoiler ]but I now realize that I simply can’t be bothered.

I will have to say that although I was not excepting that ending, it was good. Return to Book Page. Sure there was something in it for her, It seemed like it could have weighed on her conscience a little more than it did.
At a point in this book I was in “love-mode” dremer my eyes glued to the pages, but I was also in “hate-mode” seeing myself throw the book across the room.

The star rating reflects overall quality and learning potential. Oh, Cremer’s writing was good The air, water, fire adventures were actually cool save for the part that the other guy is the Scion. I’m sorry, but I’m not really a huge Calla fan right now. I was never bored or had a hard time understanding any of it. As aforementioned, her interaction with Ren is very sweet and realistic.

After all, this is a rant, an outlet to get out my jacked up feelings. Edit crdmer 3 or 4 or 5, I’ve lost count. The main problem is that the central love triangle in this book falls flat, and the way author Andrea Cremer resolves it is a cruel ploy that, while common in YA literature, is still a colossal and anti-climactic cop out.
He’s so funny, though rather less in Bloodrose than in Wolfsbane.
Nightshade 3Nightshade World 6. Is it OK for kids to read books outside their reading levels? Families can talk about the ongoing popularity of the paranormal genre in young-adult literature.
