I was pulled in by the very first line. Haven’t read a story like this in which I had to stop around 3am in the longest. I expected some form of it but I didn’t want to accept it.

Just by that one line, I knew I was going to be on a rough and stormy ride of emotions that would pull me in opposite directions the entire time. I truly believe Jake loved Lily at times.
